Interceptor is a trusted broad-spectrum parasitic tablet that prevents heartworms and controls intestinal parasites such as hookworm and roundworms in dogs and cats, and whipworms in dogs.
The most recent variety of the product, Interceptor Plus, contains an active ingredient (Praziquantel) to provide additional protection against tapeworm, and is available for dogs only.
Interceptor can be administered to dogs and puppies as young and 4 weeks, with a body weight of 2lbs (0.9kg) minimum, and is safe for use on cats and kittens from 6 weeks, weighing at least 1.5lbs (0.7kg). Interceptor for Cats has not been evaluated for use on breeding, pregnant or lactating cats.
Interceptor Plus safe for use on dogs and puppies at least 6 weeks old, with a body weight of 2lbs (0.9kg) minimum, but has not been evaluated for safe use on breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs.
